Meet Shah Atiqur Rahman, Software Engineering Manager, Listing Intelligence. We spoke to him about his role in leading our Listing Intelligence (Search) group and the methods in which he makes a difference at Realtor.com. Here's what he stated: Q. Tell us about your group. A. We own 9 backend search services that are core to the company's success. One of the most essential is the Search API, which powers results on the Search Results page. Our tech stack consists of Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Elasticsearch, GraphQL, Docker, EKS and AWS artifacts. We likewise work carefully with the Artificial intelligence team to bring AI-driven features to the consumer experience, such as search relevance enhancements and AI-powered search. We're a collaborative, friendly group that focuses on strong onboarding and continuous support. New team members are directed through the ramp-up procedure until they're confident taking full ownership of their work. Each team member is useful to other team members when facing challenges.
